As a small boutique services company, we specialize in DoD system modernization, leveraging commercial cloud and the Kubernetes ecosystem. With 40+ years of combined experience, our co-founders bring proven success—especially when working together. Origin Story

Every superhero team has an origin story. Ours is simple. Whether building a software factory, modernizing a legacy combat system, developing cloud policy, or dealing with cyber response, we've done our best work together. With a shared passion for new technology, supporting the Warfighter, and breadth and depth of experience in multiple mission areas, we started Marestella to do what we do best- support the DoD in solving its hardest problems.

  • Directed award-winning S&T efforts advancing new concepts through the full development lifecycle into sustainment
  • Regularly transitioned intelligence and oceanographic products and emerging technologies into Navy PORs
  • Led first major submarine subsystem refactor to cloud-native technology, fielding updated capability into Kubernetes
